smelling tree. Unfortunately more prone to needle loss.

Nordman Fir (Abies nordmanniana) - the original
non-needle drop with great needle retention.

Fraser Fir (Abies Fraseri) - Good needle retention
and slimmer shape tree, great for those with less space.
